City officials say all the rain and sun has caused major growth and that's caused a big concern about city grass and brush fires. Earlier this week a spark started a grass fire that also damaged a home on 8th Street. Now the city code department is starting to site people with overgrown and neglected lawns. The first visit will get you a warning. The second visit will get you a fine of up to $700 after the city cuts the lawn for you.
