Tieton Drive Repaving Impacting Traffic

Commuters on Tieton Drive might consider an alternative for the next few days as city crews continue their summer-long repaving project.

Starting Wednesday, May 28, one lane of Tieton Drive will be repaved during the day.

The outside lane, in the westbound direction, will be repaved from May 28 until June 4. The work will go on from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

The work will shut down both lanes in the westbound direction and the eastbound lanes will be cut down to one to accommodate the traffic change.

Traffic signals at 72nd Avenue and Tieton Drive will be shut off at 10:30 a.m. on May 29-30. Flaggers on site will help direct traffic.
