One good day of Action deserves another...and then... another!  United Way of Central Washington has expanded its Day of Action to three Days of Action, providing more opportunities for folks to participate in helping to improve the community.

Volunteers are invited to join the United Way staff on July 11th, 12th and 13th in a variety of service projects that include youth summer programs, hunger relief and support for seniors in Yakima and Kittitas Counties.

For all the fun that summer offers it can also be a time of hunger. For some kids summer means the loss of regular breakfast and lunch programs. United Way of Central Washington is committed to making sure kids have the same nutritious meals that they receive during the regular school days. The service projects included in the Days of Action will help make that happen.
