Three people were arrested on Saturday for the burglary of a home near Tieton. Deputies were called to the home outside of Tieton at about 9:00 p.m. Saturday where the homeowners told them they had interrupted a burglary at their home and watched the suspect run from the home and drive away in a Dodge Dakota. A news release says authorities quickly found the Dodge and a high speed chase started. As the Dakota traveled on Rudd Road the vehicle failed to negotiate a sharp turn and rolled onto its side. Three people inside the vehicle were taken into custody. Deputies found items from the home inside the vehicle and also found the vehicle was stolen.

An 18-year-old female, a 19-year-old female and a 23-year-old male were taken into custody.  All three are being held on numerous charges in the Yakima County jail.
