I'm not going to spend a whole lotta time on this but you need to see it if you haven't yet. Why? Because you are part of the family of man, one of the seven-point-eight billion people who call this planet home. Now most of us don't want to feel we are being left out of what's happening or trending. (Sure some people pride themselves for bucking the trends but by and large people are followers.) So what's the point Dave, where are you going with this?
The point is the enormous number of views given to a YouTube video. Kittens, puppies, pratfalls or politics??? Nope. This is what is breaking all the records. If you have small children or grandchildren you may have seen it ...and seen it ...and seen it again. And what they are watching is ---Baby Shark!
Remember, 7-point-8 billion people total in the world and the "Baby Shark" YouTube video has been viewed some 7-billion-57 million times !!!! That's almost like being viewed once by everybody in the world...except is really is more likely about a million times each by every kid out there!!
Earlier this week the English-language version of the "Baby Shark Dance" produced by PinkFong became the most-watched video on YouTube, dethroning Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" as the most-watched video.
You may recall "Despacito" was the focus of one in a long line of Joe Biden awkward moments when he played it on his phone at a Hispanic Heritage event during his presidential campaign. Cringe-worthy for sure!
However you have to wonder if the former V.P. has ever watched the original Despacito video because it might be a little too hot for him to handle and certainly he cannot do now nor likely ever did he have those kind of moves!
I'm told Despacito is American-Spanish for "slowly". So now you are caught up, up-to-date with 7 billion plus of your close personal friends!
Buckle up...for Despacito!
