Thieves have targeted the Eisenhower High School construction project. Yakima police say last weekend thieves stole more than $100,000 worth of equipment from the project. Police say tools, copper wire and a pickup truck were taken from the site over the weekend. They found the truck Wednesday, but no sign of the tools or the copper.

"As you can imagine it would be quite a surprise to come in and find materials and tools you need for that day to be missing," said Brian Holecek, senior project manager.  "So there needs to be time to make arrangements for replacements."

The project manager said the crime slowed down the work, but didn't shut down construction. It's not clear if crews will miss the target completion date.

Yakima police are investigating.
