The Valley Is Dry Firefighters Want To Avoid A Big Fire

Many fields in the valley are dry and firefighters say they're ripe for a wildfire. Firefighters battled a 5 acre fire near 26th Avenue and Ahtanum Road yesterday afternoon. The cause of the fire hasn't been determined but firefighters say many brush fires in the valley are caused by people throwing cigarettes out the window. No injuries were reported.
