YAKIMA Street Block Party This SATURDAY at The Tap!

Has it been a while since you've been to a big street block party in Yakima? If so, this Saturday is going to be your day!

If you've never been to the brew pub called The Tap, it is so much fun. You find a place to park and then you head inside The Tap and pay for a wristband. This wristband will allow you to tap your wristband on any of the pours displayed on the long wall of beers, ciders, and etc.

You pick up your cup from the trays placed right in front of the wall of beers. My suggestion is for you to take your wristband off and place it directly underneath the beer selection you choose, because that will make it so much easier instead of spending a few moments to frantically waving your wrist like I did! Ha!

The Block Party on Saturday will have live music from DJ Rebyl and some local Yakima Valley food trucks. They are closing the street down to give it that true Block Party feel! I saw on their Facebbok page that they will have some slushees available, too, along with "50 beers on tap!"

Saturday, May 7th from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

This is a kid-friendly event so you don't have to shell out for a babysitter unless you really want to!
