Downtown Summer Nights Finale: Dates, Artists, and What to Expect
With plentiful sunshine, average highs in the 80s, and refreshingly cool nights, it is no secret that for many, summer is the most beautiful time in the Yakima Valley. However, fall temps and the back-to-school rush are quickly approaching, meaning we must savor the time we have left! Downtown Summer Nights is the perfect way to connect with the community, enjoy some quality entertainment, and enjoy pristine weather.

What Is Downtown Summer Nights?
Downtown Summer Nights is a weekly community street party sponsored by Yakima Federal Savings and Loan, held on Historic North Front Street in Yakima WA two Thursdays a month from 6-9 PM. There are local food vendors and free all-ages concerts by a variety of different bands to keep everyone entertained!
Upcoming Events
Make sure you make time to attend, as there are only two more events this year occurring this Thursday the 13th and Thursday the 27th of August! This coming Thursday will include performances from regional bands, including country-rock group Genevieve and '70s soft-rock cover duo Lena and the Bear. The 27th will bring acts from diverse regions, including the socially conscious Nebraska harmony-folk-rock duo The Talbott Brothers and Liberian-born country/western singer James Beam. So come on out, make some friends, and enjoy amazing food and drink and fantastic performances!
