The experts all pretty much agree that there’s a robot in your future - but before that happens, there’s a hot plate of Teriyaki in your future first, waiting for you at Wapato High.

This Saturday you can feast on your choice of beef or chicken teriyaki, steamed rice, salad and more.   Proceeds help support the Wapato High School Robotics & Engineering Club. If that is not enough to tempt you, there is also a bake sale and a silent auction.  But wait there’s more - Wapato is hosting Toppenish in High School Basketball action that evening.  The Varsity Girls start at 5:45pm and the Boys at 7:15pm.

Each year it costs the club several thousand dollars to build its robots, pay for entry fees and getting students to the regional competition and covering food and lodging.  Some of the costs are covered by grants the club has been able to secure as well as donations from businesses and others.

The Teriyaki Feed is Saturday, December 3rd from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the High School Commons.  The cost is $10.00 per plate.
