The Number Of Foreclosed Homes Dropping In Yakima County

Fewer homes are going into foreclosure in Yakima County. Realtytrac reports 125 homes in the county went into some stage of foreclosure during the third quarter. There were 242 during the same time last year. The most recent numbers also represent a decline from the 190 seen during the second quarter of this year. Statewide, the third quarter foreclosures fell 45 percent from a year earlier.
