Tonight's fruit frost forecast from meteorologist Tim Creek and Pacific Weather Consulting.

Tim tells us that cooler temperatures are in store for the Yakima Valley tonight, but that frost protection should not be needed.

Some of the isolated cold spots in the upper valley may reach 32 to 33 degrees, but lows should generally range from 35 to 39 degrees. Dew points are running in the 30s. Winds will decrease over night, but the inversion should be strong enough to keep temperatures out of critical values.
