Even though firefighters have watched the fire grow fire officials say they've had a lot of successes in saving homes and properties of people who live in the fire area.
The fire, which is now burning about a quarter of a mile from the Nile and about a mile from Highway 410 grew is a whopping 56,422 acres with no containment.
Fire officials say winds over the weekend fueled the fire and pushed it in a northeast direction toward Highway 410 and west toward Bumping River Road.
A press release from the US Forest Service says it's burning in heavy, brush, timber and snags which pose big problems for firefighters who want to get close to the fire.
