A 29-year-old man is recovering at a Seattle hospital after he lead authorities on a chase while driving a stolen ATV. The suspect crashed the 4 wheel ATV into a guardrail during the chase and was injured. A Yakima County Sheriff's deputy was  called to the Rimrock Lake, Russell Creek and Clear Lake areas on Tuesday to investigate several burglaries. When the deputy arrived he saw the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Joseph Adams Jr. a transient from the Tacoma area driving the stolen ATV. A chase started as Adams Jr. threw tools at the deputies vehicle. The chase ended when the suspect crashed into a guardrail near the intersection of US Hwy 12 and US Hwy 123. Adams Jr. was injured and remains at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
