Stabbing Leads To Second Homicide In City

A fight at a Yakima bar early today has resulted in the stabbing death of a 36 year old man identified as Jason Linder. Police say Linder was at Arty's Tavern on Fruitvale at about 1am when he started fighting with others inside the bar. The fight continued outside until everyone was seperated and sent home. But a short time later Linder was found stabbed in the chest on the sidewalk east of the tavern. He died at the scene. A suspect, 34 year old Mathew Leonard of Yakima was arrested at a home in Toppenish. He's being held in the County Jail on a murder charge.
