Both Teams are 4-2 and tied for the division lead. The Seahawks are coming off a fantastic win over New England, while San Francisco is coming off a huge loss to the Giants.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson seems to have silenced the critics with his 16-of-27, 293-yard, three-TD effort against the Patriots. San Francisco's Alex Smith threw three interceptions in an eight-pass span and was sacked four times in what looked like a turn-back-the-clock outing in a 26-3 loss to the Giants. Can Wilson deal with the leagues #1 defense? Can Smith handle a much better Seattle defense than the one he beat twice last year?

The Seahawks defensive crew will have to contain the always dangerous Frank Gore, while the 49ers will have to try and stop Marshawn Lynch. Lynch leads the NFC with 549 rushing yards and has at least 85 rushing yards in 13 of his past 15 games.

The 49ers swept the season series against the Seahawks last season for the first time since 2006, and have won four of the past six meetings.

You can hear the game Thursday on AM 1280 and FM 99.3 Newstalk KIT.
