The Central Washington State Fair (CWSF) was scrapped last year because of the Coronavirus pandemic.  That community loss spawned a couple of creative State Fair Food Parties but as good as they were, they weren't wasn't quite "The FAIR".  But the Fair is back this fall --  scheduled for September 24 – October 3rd.and they are loaded for entertainment!  New acts have just been announced and you need to plan accordingly!  Tickets go on sale, Friday, July 30, 2021, at 10 am

Country Music Comes To Town

Fans of 90's country music will enjoy turning back the clock with the Frontmen Of Country on Monday, September the 27th at 7 pm featuring three singers who were THE voices of three of the top Country bands of the ’90s: Larry Stewart of Restless Heart, Tim Rushlow, formerly of Little Texas, and Richie McDonald of Lonestar. Stewart, Rushlow, and McDonald have collectively sold over 30 million records and had over 30 major hits between them. These songs and many others included in their show are being called the soundtrack of a generation.

Nothin' Cheap About These Tricksters

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick "Want us to want Them" on Thursday, September 30th at 7 pm.  Cheap Trick has earned more than 40 international gold and platinum certifications, myriad awards, industry honors, and has featured appearances on over 20 movie soundtracks, with a total record sales well in excess of 20 million.

Paying Tribute To The Greats

And if Cheap Trick didn't shake loose all your rocks and rolls, the Classic Rock Tribute Fest is sure to finish the job!  The Fest features four high-energy tribute bands celebrating some of the greatest rock bands of all time on Saturday, October 2nd.

  • 4:00 PM  'Hysteria: a Def Leppard tribute,
  • 5:15 Dr. Crüe: a Motley Crüe tribute,
  • 6:30 Appetite for Deception: a tribute to Guns N’ Roses,
  • 8:10  Hell’s Belles: an all-female tribute to AC/DC.

The folks at the Fair say they have made a few changes to the 2021 Fatbeam Concert series in that concert tickets now include Fair admission (a value of up to $16.00) and all concerts require a paid reserved seat ticket. Concert ticket details can be found at fairfun.com.

The Fair theme this year is “Celebrate Together Again” and that's more easily done when we're side-by-side cheering for our favorite kind of music!
