A 25-year-old man is being treated at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being shot on Thursday in Yakima.

POLICE FOUND THE MAN SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES

Officers were called to the 1700 block of Summitview Avenue at about 4:40PM on Thursday. When they arrived they found a 25-year-old man at the home who had been shot multiple times throughout his body. The man was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital but then transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for further treatment. Police say they don't believe the shooting was gang related.
No suspects were arrested but police say they're looking for a 34-year-old man from Union Gap in connection with the shooting. An arrest warrant charges him with 1st degree Assault, Burglary and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

POLICE ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR A SUSPECT FROM MONDAY SHOOTING

Another shooting reported this week remains under investigation with no arrests.
Yakima Police are still investigating a shooting reported Monday in the 1500 block of North 1st Street. The shooting was reported at about 2:30AM Monday. Police say the victim was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital with injuries.
Authorities say a 36-year-old man was injured in what police believe was a gang related shooting. Witnesses tell police five to eight gunshots were fired at the man who was shot throughout his body. The man is being treated today as the investigation continues.

INVESTIGATORS STILL SEARCHING FOR CLUES IN THE BERGLUND LAKE SHOOTING

Authorities continue the investigation into a local gang member who shot another man at Berglund Lake and then stole his vehicle earlier this month. The suspect was shot by officers in Medford Oregon following a high speed chase. 25-year-old Aurelio Escobar continues to recover at an Oregon Hospital. Police in Yakima continue the search for the Escobar's girlfriend who was reported missing from the Sunnyside area last month.
