
Police Identify 4 Shot in Murder Suicide in Toppenish Last Week
Four of five people fatally shot and another wounded last Thursday in Toppenish have been identified by local authorities.
ALL SHOT WERE FROM TOPPENISH
The Yakima County Coroners office says those who died are identified as 13-year-old Isaac Corpuz, 18-year-old Altagracia Mancillas-Hernandez and 21-year-old Alicia Castro. Another 21-Year-old who has not been identified remains hospitalized.
Toppenish Police say the shooter, 19-year-old Raymundo Lopez died from a self inflicted gunshot wound.

A SHOCKING TREND IS UNDERWAY IN THE YAKIMA VALLEY
The mass shooting last week contributes to a shocking trend in the valley. In the past year, Yakima County has seen 31 Homicides with six of those being in the small town of Toppenish. Three people were killed last January at a Circle K store in Yakima in addition to the young people shot and killed last week. In the Circle K store shooting the suspect took his own life.
POLICE WERE CALLED TO THE AREA EARLY LAST THURSDAY
Toppenish Police were called to the the 200 block of Pearne Street at about 5:00 am last Thursday. They found the five shot and rushed one survivor to a hospital where he continues to be treated. For security reasons police haven't identified the survivor or the hospital where he is being treated. They hope if he survives he may be able to tell authorities the motive in the shooting.
RUMORS SO FAR BUT NO CONCRETE MOTIVE YET
So far a lot of rumors have been circling about the shooting that it was the result of a relationship gone bad, but so far no official motive has been released. The investigation continues today.
