According to the "Favorite Ice Cream Flavors Index - a study on consumer preferences and trends in America conducted by financial firm Scholaroo, ice cream sales rose 9.8% in June 2023, compared to the same time last year.
The study says there's been a big increase in demand for the cool treat, especially during our current summer heatwave.
