People’s Choice Award From Tour of Homes Announced

Big Jims Smokin' BBQ has been awarded the People's Choice award in the inaugural Chefs on Tour event that happened during the annual Tour of Homes in September.

The Central Washington Home Builders Association holds the yearly tour in September for two weekends and this year added in a food component. Big Jims won for the Yakima tour.

There were also awards for favorite houses or construction announced. New Creation Construction LLC, Gust Builders, Town and Country Homes LLC, Lexar Homes, M Sevigny Construction and 3rd Gen Construction Inc. all took home People's Choice awards.

Each year the association issues judged awards, but also lets the public vote for their favorites in several different categories.

The Valley Cafe in Ellensburg won the People's Choice award for food in the Ellensburg tour of homes.
