New City Manager Could Start Soon In Yakima

The Yakima City Council meets at 6 tonight at city hall and the council is expected to vote on an employment contract being offered to future city manager Don Cooper. Cooper is being offered a contract that pays him 155 thousand dollars a year. If the contract is signed by the mayor and Cooper agrees Cooper could start in early September.
