Police are still looking for the suspect that shot and killed a man in Union Gap Saturday night.

Union Gap Police are not releasing too much information about this case, but neighbors in the area said the whole street was blocked off with police cars and crime scene tape.

The victim was identified as 20-year-old Juan Hernandez. The county coroner said he died from a gun shot wound to the shoulder and bled to death at the scene.

This happened on the 2100 block of South 7th Avenue in Union Gap.

Neighbors said this area is usually very safe, but now they are on edge.

"There are break-ins of car vehicles, houses, real minor stuff. This is pretty devastating for a neighborhood like this that has been so quiet," said area resident Debra Moore.

Police are still not sure if this is gang related, but neighbors think it might be. They said they heard gunshots fired during a house party on Saturday night.

The neighborhood is located just off Washington Avenue and West Valley Mall Boulevard.

If you have any information about the shooting, call Union Gap Police.
