Family Fun & History at Union Gap’s Old Town Days
Celebrate Washington State’s largest Living History Weekend in Union Gap on June 20-21 during Old Town Days. The weekend includes Civil War reenactments and encampments, offering two days full of history, fun, and family activities in all at Union Gap's Fullbright Park.
LOTS OF LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS
According to the website of the The Central Washington Agriculture Museum if you attend you can explore sprawling history camps featuring demonstrations and insights into life during the Civil War—both on the battlefield and at home—organized by the Washington Civil War Association. Walk through authentic Union and Confederate camps, engage with Civil War reenactors, and learn about this important period in American history during America's 250th birthday year.

LIVE BATTLES WITH LIVE CANNONS
Don’t miss the exciting battle reenactments each day, where the North and South face off in live-action displays with cannon fire and simulated combat. Kids can participate in "Education Stations," where they’ll learn fascinating facts through scavenger hunts and earn prizes. Other highlights include a Civil War encampment and battle reenactment with live cannons.
ALL THE FUN INCLUDING FOOD
The Central Washington Agriculture Museum will be open with special exhibits. A kids’ area, food vendors, and various exhibits will also be available for the entire family.
The Civil War encampments and demonstrations kick off at 9:00 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Bring the whole family for a weekend of history, entertainment, and community spirit.
