When you are hot you’re hot, even when you’re dead!  Forbes magazine is out with its annual list of richest dead celebrities, and it doesn't look like anyone will top MICHAEL JACKSON's earnings any time soon.

However, golfer ARNOLD PALMER, who passed away last month, made it to number three. DAVID BOWIE, who died of cancer in January at 69, and PRINCE, who was found dead in mid-April at the age of 57, also made this year's list.

Part of the reason for Michael Jackson topping the list was that his music publishing catalogue was sold for $750-million dollars this year --which Forbes says was "the most any celebrity has ever earned in a single year."
