Yakima Police say a 49-year-old man was killed in a shooting at a Yakima home early Tuesday morning. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says officers responded to a call of aS robbery at a home in the 700 block of South Eighth Avenue at about 5:05 a.m. He says several people were in the home when the suspect walked to the side of the house "and broke out a window and demanded some property which he was given through the window," Bastinelli said.

The suspect then jumped into what was described as a dark SUV and fled the scene. Witnesses described the suspect as a dark-complexioned male who was wearing a bandana over his face.
