Man Charged With Using Klingon Sword

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — He's no Klingon -- but he's charged with wielding a Klingon sword, known in "Star Trek" lore as a bat'leth. A 50-year-old Spokane, Washington, man now man faces assault charges. KREM-TV reports that according to court documents the man got into an argument with a neighbor over trash. The neighbor charges the man swung the multi-blade "Star Trek" weapon at him. The defendant's wife counters that her husband brandished the Klingon weapon after the neighbor barged into their home.
