Man Arrested for Molesting Girl at West Valley Walmart

Yakima Police have arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of molesting a 4-year-old girl at the West Valley Walmart. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says the incident occurred last Tuesday at the store when the girl was walking through the store with her mother.

"Her mother was in an adjacent aisle and the suspect stalked the little girl," Bastinelli says.
He adds that the man was eventually able to molest the girl in the aisle of the store. He says the girl screamed and that's when the man ran out of the store. But police were able to identify him and his vehicle and he was arrested last Thursday. He's been identified as 26-year-old Sal George. He's being held in the Yakima County jail on child molestation and rape of a child charges.
