Things have changed at Yakima's Randall Park. On Tuesday a grand re-opening ceremony was held at the park to celebrate more than $1 million in improvements. The changes and upgrades were funded through a $500,000 grant from the state’s Recreation and Conservation Office and $600,000 in local donations and matching funds. If you visit the park on South 48th Avenue you'll be able see and enjoy all the changes which include new picnic shelters and a new Wildlife observation deck. You'll also see new basketball courts, playground equipment and restrooms. The work cleaned up the duck pond and repaired parking lots and rebuilt walkways. There's also new signage and fencing at Randall Park on South 48th Avenue in Yakima.
