City Council Wants to Fund Projects by Increasing Car Tab Fees [POLL]

The Yakima City council wants to fund 19 projects totaling $24 million with an increase in car tab fees. The council will hold a public hearing at its regular agenda meeting Tuesday night before voting on the issue. The council is looking at an increase of $15 to $20. The money would be used to make major street and sidewalk improvements including those planned for North First Street. The council meets at 6:00 pm. at city hall.
