MADD Honors Drunk Driving First Responders

The group known as MADD or Mothers Against Drunk Drivers is a nonprofit organization working for decades to stop drunk driving and to support those families affected by drunk drivers. This Saturday, 6-23-18,  MADD Washington will celebrate "Salute Our Heroes Day" at the Yakima Greenway's Sarge Hubbard Park.

MADD says it plans to honor Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Paramedics and other first responders that do the work to help keep our roads and highways safe.

The event runs from 9 to Noon and will include:

Mobile DUI Processing Van

Jaws of Life demonstration

First Responder Relay Race

Officer DUI Award

Russ Bartlett Award
