The Central Washington State Fair is set for September 24-October 3 and hundreds of people are needed to make the fair a fun time.

THE JOB FAIR IS SET FOR 11AM TO 7PM WEDNESDAY

That's why the fair is holding a job fair on Wednesday at Yakima's State Fair Park. The job fair will be held from 11:00AM to 7:00PM in the Modern Living building at State Fair Park. If you attend you need to enter through gate 5.

JOBS ARE OPEN FOR THOSE 16-YEARS-OLD AND OLDER

Fair officials say for the first time this year they're offering jobs to people 16-years-old and older and they're offering lots of incentives to those who get a job. Flexible work hours are available during the 10 days of the fair including weekdays and weekends. The positions will also come with free Fair tickets, prize drawings and a completion bonus. They say if you attend the fair you'll be hired on the spot so be ready to get your schedule to work for the upcoming fair.

CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE JOB FAIR? STOP BY THE OFFICE

Pre-fair work is also available and if you can't make it to the job fair you can stop by the State Fair Offices on Fair Avenue Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM and fill out an application for a job.
Lots of jobs are open including jobs in guest services, maintenance and janitorial services, ticket takers and sellers, food services, crowd management along with parking sellers and attendants.
Fair officials say getting a fair job has been very helpful to many people for many years. The extra money helps pay summer bills or helps with purchases for the upcoming holidays.
Those who live around the fairgrounds also benefit from the 10 days of the fair. Many people turn yards and property into parking areas for those attending the fair.
