A Yakima attorney known for representing local gang members is no longer practicing law in the valley. Last month Kim Grijalva was convicted of giving an inmate a cell phone inside the jail and allowing other inmates to circumvent the jail's telephone security system. The Washington State Bar Association has suspended her license to practice law. The Assocation could take action later. It's likely Grijalva will face a multi-year suspension or disbarment.
