Officials from Astria Regional Medical Center were in U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court Tuesday saying it's too late to save the hospital from closure and a Judge agreed.
The Washington State Nurses Association filed a motion Friday asking a federal judge to stop the closure. Hospital officials told the judge they've already given up the hospital license to the state of Washington.
The judge eventually decided not to reconsider the approval for closing the hospital.
The facility is set to close at the end of the month. But before that happens officials are urging patients and former patients to obtain medical records. You can request your records by calling Astria Medical records department at 576-3749.

Astria is working with patients to make sure they're transitioned smoothly to either other Astria Health Hospitals or other facilities.
