Yakima Sushi Restaurant Plans to Open 2nd Location in West Valley

There was a time in Yakima where sushi really wasn't an option. There were a couple of spots, maybe, but it wasn't nearly as popular.
Fortunately, there are several options for sushi now in Yakima.
And great news for those in West Valley as a popular spot is planning on opening a second location near Walmart.

West Valley Location for Kobe Sushi

Yakima Herald reported a new location for Kobe Sushi and Teriyaki is going near Walmart in that group of buildings between Walgreens and Walmart. If Suite 600 is the spot, it would put it right next to Grand Monarca.

This was reported when City of Yakima issued building permit for that specific suite to include waiter area, sushi bar, restroom, and more into that specific suite.

This is fantastic news for our friends in West Valley as so many of Yakima's eateries are all on the other side of town it seems. More and more businesses are going into the West Valley area where it didn't seem like that long ago West Valley was mostly comprised of orchards.

There are still plenty of orchards but this is very nice to see.

As of this time, there's no telling when the new location will open in West Valley.

We're still waiting for the Union Gap location to open as well. The Union Gap Kobe Sushi and Teriyaki has been closed for several months but there is an 'Opening Soon' sign they just put up so it should be open soon as well.
