What was a bummer last week turned out to be a happy occurrence for this week! Yakima Federal Downtown Summer Nights presented by Yakima Federal Savings & Loan is set to rock downtown Yakima THURSDAY NIGHT, August 20th!
What Happened Last Week?
The crowd was excited, the bands were warmed up, and the air was filled with excitement… and too much smoke.
“We are so sad that we have to cancel tonight, but the air quality is just not ideal for anyone to be working, performing, or sitting outside for extended periods. We are looking into moving tonight’s (8/13) show to next Thursday (8/20), but there are quite a bit of logistics behind that, so we will keep you all posted”

Yakima Federal Downtown Summer Nights Is Back On Thursday!
Well, the logistics were figured out, the air is clearing up, and it’s still hot enough for a fun summer night with music, drinks, food, and community! You’re invited!
Best of all, all the bands that were scheduled for last week’s festivities are on tap to perform on Thursday night (8/20)!

The party begins at 5:30 p.m. with the beer garden, food, and other vendors throughout historic North Front Street.
Then at 6 p.m., Lena and The Bear will take the stage, followed by your headliner, Central Washington favorite Genevieve!
With only two more Yakima Federal Downtown Summer Nights left this season, you don’t want to miss a single one, and thankfully, we won’t have to! This Thursday (8/20) and next Thursday (8/27).
