Yakima Book Lovers Turn Out for Spring Author Fair & Spring Market

New Friends, New Books, So Many Adventures!

Literary fans from all around the Yakima Valley showed up to Encore Books for the bi-annual event to meet local authors from all around the Pacific Northwest.

Local favorites like Audrey Cole, EL Roff, Derek Wachter, Kasey Safford, Victor Kusske, Richard Moreno, T Lynn Jackson, AR Ramirez, E.L. Roff, and pun master Ben Mayo showed up to share their new stories, meet fans, and talk shop with inspiring authors.

On the crafting side, you had everything from hand-sewn beautiful hats and clothing, crafted jewelry, glittery pens and jars, plans and glass decorations, Funko Pops and comic books, and some tasty treats and drinks (like the Scottish flair of Off Kilter mobile food and The Bena's Twist & Sip).

There are several craft fairs and bazaars going on throughout the Yakima Valley (check out our June list here), but the next one of these official Author Fair & Vendor Market will be happening on Sunday, October 4th of this year. So you have some time to get some reading done, clear off your shelf, and get ready for some new adventures.
