You’re overweight. But you know it and you are looking for anything that might help. How about checking the fridge door. Not what’s inside but what’s hanging on the outside. A magnet. CBS News says researchers believe people with obesity could benefit from magnetic stimulation of the brain to help them eat less.
The latest work on two noninvasive brain-stimulation techniques found both magnetic and electrical pulses yielded promising early results for people with obesity.
The main target of the brain stimulation is usually a region called the dorso-lateral prefrontal cortex, which is linked to dietary self-control.
