Think about it. Did you file your taxes in 2011? David Tucker with the Internal Revenue Service says tax refunds totaling $28.7 million may be waiting for an estimated 28,400 Washington taxpayers who did not file a federal income tax return for 2011. "Some people think they don't earn enough to file but what they're not aware of is that they are eligible for deductions or tax credits that will provide a refund to them." The IRS estimates half of those potential refunds for 2011 are more than $750. To collect the money you need to file a 2011 tax return with the IRS no later than Wednesday, April 15.
