Investigation Underway After Man Found Shot Dead In Sunnyside

A homicide investigation is underway in Sunnyside after a man was found shot dead sitting in a vehicle on Sunday. Deputies and officers from the Sunnyside Police Department were called to the 600 block of Sli Road at about 7:00 a.m. Sunday were they found 34-year-old Francisco Cortes-Ochoa from Toppenish sitting in a vehicle. An autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
The investigation continues Today with the help of drone video and pictures of the scene taken officials at the Yakima Valley Office of Emergency Management.
