DON'T FLUSH OR THROW AWAY
Safe Yakima Valley officials say the safe destruction of documents reduces the risk of identity theft and safely disposing unwanted/unused medications reduces the risk of kids experimenting with prescription pills. Last year the event collected more than 11,000 pounds of shreds and over 340 pounds of unwanted/unused medications in only 3 hours.
