I-90 Open After Semi Truck Crash Closes Road Over Pass For Hours

Both directions of I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass re-opened late Wednesday after a crash near Cle Elum. The Washington State Patrol says 32-year-old Rory Hillman of Othello was driving a semi truck with ammonia tanks, West along I-90 Wednesday morning 3 miles east of Cle Elum. Troopers say the semi went off the roadway where it rolled on to its top landing in a ditch. The ammonia tanks fell from the semi truck.
Hillman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say the cause of the crash is under investigation.
