Hillsboro Getting Closer on Moving the Yakima Bears

(AP) - Hillsboro is another step closer to bringing the Yakima Bears Northwest League team to the city next summer. The city council approved a naming rights agreement Tuesday night for the proposed 4,500-seat stadium. The council also approved the process for a contract with the Yakima Bears Owner, Short Season LLC.  The Oregonian reports the move from Yakima still requires the approval of Major and Minor League Baseball and a concessions agreement.
