A 35-year-old man faces charges of eluding after a high speed chase that lasted 20-minutes Saturday night. Yakima County Sheriff's deputies say they spotted a stolen vehicle at the Yakamart gas station and convenience store at 111 Fort Road.  When the Deputy signaled the driver to pull over he took off at a high speed. Deputies say the pursuit lasted for 20 minutes and reached speeds of 120 MPH. They say once the driver exited I-82 at Valley Mall Boulevard, he struck a Yakima County Sheriff’s Office vehicle responding to the pursuit. At that time three people were taken into custody from the vehicle. The driver, a 35-year-old male Yakama Tribal Member from Yakima. Two passengers, a 21-year-old female Yakama Tribal Member from Wapato and a 31-year-old male Yakama Tribal Member from Wapato. The driver faces eluding and other felony charges.
