Here Comes The Political Season It’s Candidate Filing Week

It's candidate filing week with hundreds of candidates officially kicking off campaigns. In Yakima...City Council member Rick Ensey, known as an outspoken conservative on many issues including taxes has announced he's running for re election. No press conference for Ensey but he did release a statement in which he says he hopes voters retain him as a leader on the council. Meanwhile, Yakima County Superior Court Judge Robert Lawrence Berrey wants to keep his job. He'll announce his election campaign today outside the County Courthouse. Lawrence -Berrey was appointed by the Governor after the retirement of Judge Michael Schwab. Last week Chief Criminal Deputy Prosecutor Ken Ramm announced he's running for the same seat.
