Gas Prices Dropped A Little

Average retail gasoline prices in Yakima have fallen 2.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $4.02 per gallon on Sunday. This compares with the national average that has fallen 4.2 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.85 per gallon, according to Yakima's gasoline price website.

Including the change in gas prices in Yakima during the past week, prices Sunday were 11.2 cents per gallon higher than April 23, 2011, and are 5.6 cents per gallon higher than one month ago. The national average has decreased 0.7 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 1.5 cents per gallon higher than April 23, 2011.
