The Yakima Health District, in partnership with the Downtown Association of Yakima, Nuestra Casa, Zócalo of Yakima, and South Central Workforce, is kicking off a series of free bilingual workshops called Flavors of the Community.

A BUSY SUMMER OF CELEBRATIONS AND EVENTS

District officials say the Temporary Food Event Workshops are designed to support local food vendors as they prepare for the upcoming busy community event season in the Yakima valley. The first workshop is set for June 3, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, at the Rotary Pavilion located at 15 West Yakima Avenue. The second session is scheduled for June 10, from 5:30-7:30 pm, at Nuestra Casa, 307 South 7th Street in Sunnyside.
