Fatal Accident Involving Semi on I-82 Interchange Near Selah

Please be aware of where you're headed today. Whenever there is a semi-involved crash I always check and send out a prayer. My Father is a truck driver and I salute how difficult your jobs can be. From not being allowed to drop off your loads to maneuvering unfamiliar roads, it's a lot and you are all rock stars!

We wish all crashes didn't include injuries but unfortunately this morning, that wasn't the case. According to the Yakima Police's Facebook page

N 1st St from R St to the I-82 Interchange will be closed most of the day due to a fatality semi truck collision. WSP handling. Street closures in both directions, north and south bound. Drivers should use alternate routes all day.

At about 2 pm this afternoon there was new information released via the Yakima Police Department Facebook Page
