A 19 year old suspect arrested in a fatal drive by shooting reported in may of this year was in court Tuesday where bail was set at $1 million. Yakima Police say Jermiah Peralez was the driver of a vehicle that struck 17 year old Emilio Phelan before he was shot dead. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says On May 19th, 31-year-old Emilio Phelan was shot and killed while riding a bicycle near the intersection of Peach Street and Cornell Avenue.  following an extensive investigation, 17-year-old Pedro Soliz was arrested for investigation of 1st Degree Murder. He was in court last Friday..he's being held in the county juvenile detention center on a charge of first degree murder. Paralez is being held in the Yakima County Jail.
