Family of Missing Yakima Man Asking for Your Help

The family of a missing 86-year-old Yakima man is in a desperate search for him. Yakima County sheriff's deputies say Bernard Schieber, who suffers from dementia, left his home in the 2500 block of South 84th Avenue on Aug. 8.

Authorities say he was driving the Chevy pickup that's in the picture above. The pickup no longer has the wood racks on it, but there is a white decal on the back driver-side window as depicted.

Deputies say Scheiber had no money and only a quarter of a tank of gas. Schieber is 5-feet-11 and weighs 190 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair. If you see Schieber or his truck, call 911 or the Yakima County Sheriff's Office at 574-2500.
